MG Metro 6R4
The Octane Collection currently have this stunning 12 mile MG Metro 6R4 Group B rally legend for sale.
Painstakingly rebuild over the last 10 years with ex ARM Works staff involved, this ‘matchbox’ 6R4 is surely the best example out there. It comes with a ton of history and original documentation.
So if you fancy ripping up the hill at Goodwood Festival of Speed anytime soon, you know what you need to do.

Porsche 911 (996) GT3 RS
Could this be the cleanest 996 GT3 RS out there? It certainly looks that way
The original GT3 RS, was a lighter, more hardcore version of the already sublime GT3. With it’s frankly ridiculous mechanical grip, precise hydraulic steering and the constant feedback from every bump, twitch and corner it’s a car that more than holds it’s own today and still stands up to the best out there.
This particular example looks absolutely perfect, and there’s a strong argument it could be the cleanest out there right now. It may have 25,000 on the clock, but it’s only done just over 2,000 in the last 10 years, yet has had 4 services – clearly a very loved car.
Finished in iconic Carrera white, with contrasting Riviera Blue wheels and decals, it’s everything an RS should be. Add to that the masses of carbon both externally and internally and it’s pretty much perfect in our opinion.

Porsche 911 (991.1) GT3
Talking of GT3’s, this looks to be a bit of a bargain….
Only 14,000 miles on the clock, huge spec including nose lift, sport seats plus, LED headlights, masses and masses of carbon and a windscreen price of £112,995! Where’s the catch?
Well look a little closer and you will notice the steering wheel is stuck to the wrong side of the car for our fine UK roads. However, for such a well spec’d GT3, in such a stunning colour and condition that’s a tiny fly in an otherwise vat of ointment.
Organise a few summer trips to the Nürburgring, Le Mans and Monaco, and you’ll soon be having the last laugh.

Ford Racing Puma
A true cult classic and genuine piece of motoring history
The Ford Racing Puma was a rather special, limited run version of the already well received Puma. Limited to just 500 it boasted 100mm wider arches, big 17″ Speedline alloys and a set of alcantara clad Sparco bucket seats. Back in the early 2000’s this should have been all things to all men & women. However, with a high price, the original run of 1000 was halved to just 500; something that will come in very handy when combined with the words “residuals” or “future classic”.
The “FRP” here looks to be a very clean example, with a “barely broken in” 69,000 miles, an extensive service history, as well as being dry stored most of it’s life. It was also featured in Autocar magazine in spring 2008.

Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
A car with possibly the best soundtrack to ever come out of Maranello
It’s not a difficult one this. Do you like Ferrari? Yes. Do you like 360 Challenge Stradale’s? Yes. Job done then. Well there’s one more question and this is a hard one; Do you prefer Red or Yellow?….
Well don’t worry because at The Octane Collection you can have Red and Yellow.
Citroën Saxo VTS
The Saxo VTS was a properly hot little hatch in its day. It was cheap, fast, was a hoot to drive and in Phase 2 guise, looked great.
Less common than the boy racer chariot of choice – the VTR, the VTS was a quicker, more desirable version. The good news today, is that due to scrappage schemes of the early 2000’s as well as their owners penchant for finding ditches, there are only 303 registered VTS’s on the road today.
This has meant a sharp rise in (good) VTS prices, which looks to continue. There’s a strong sense that these little pocket rockets are the next MK1 GTi or 205 GTi. Get one while you can!
This stunning example is currently for sale on Pistonheads and looks perfect in desirable ‘Poseidon Blue’.
Ferrari F12 TDF
A F12 TDF like you’ve never seen before.
The Ferrari F12 TDF is a rare enough beast on it’s own, let alone when it’s in “Matt Blu Elettrico” with Black/Blu Alcantara seats. Add to the fact that the owner who spec’d this incredible machine has only done 79 miles in it, and this thing is utterly ridiculous!

Mercedes 500SL AMG (R129)
Last, but definitely not least, a brutal 90’s icon
A super rare R129 500SL converted by AMG themselves. This is reportedly 1 of only 164 cars ever produced, and a special order by the Sultan of Brunei himself.
As if that wasn’t enough, this particular example has just over 7,000 miles on the clock, and above all else is RIGHT HAND DRIVE!!!
